25 July 10 - 14:35Does anyone know this woman?
Once again I get someone lookinf for me on fFacebook. This time it is this girl in the picture who has sent a friend request. This is the picture from her Facebook page. Her name is "Hedy Hershaw" according to her page.
She appears to be very classy. I note that her picture has been taken in a public restroom (note the paper towel dispenser) and she has her butt crack firmly planted on the counter. That also says "class" I suppose.
Anyway, I gave her the old "ignore", but I keep wondering what the scam is. Do these fake people want to become a friend to gain information? It must be that.
Anyway, any other of you women out there with bareass pictures taken in public restrooms, just send the picture, and skip the friend request.

15 July 10 - 21:27Politicians are a stitch
It's been a while. Sorry for the dry spell.
Here is a quote from USA Today....
"Apple has made a series of conflicting statements regarding the reception issue — so many that Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., on Thursday wrote an open letter to Apple CEO Steve Jobs urging him to be clearer with the public on solutions. A bumper is "insufficient," Schumer says."
Since this guy is a Democrat, I look no further. He is obviously an expert on everything.
You got that, people???? Bumpers are "insufficient."
Take it from a politician, they know.
Just wait and see how well healthcare works. Remember, these are the guys that brought us the stimulus package. They are so smart, they even know things they don't know.

09 May 10 - 17:05Another Woman Looking for Me
Another woman seems to appear regularly on my facebook page. This woman seems to be related to the last one. See the family resemblance? Yes, that similarity, just below the collarbones.
These women certainly all belong to the baloona kahoona club. Whew, they must be twenty pounds apiece.
Facebook needs to know that I don't need an over forty attraction. I have one, my honey is just what I need.
That raises the question, "where are they finding these women for facebook ads?" If not at the baloona kahoona club, perhaps the Mega-mammary School for Modeling.
I intend to keep my eyes open for more of these ads.
They are successful, they seem to grab my attention!
Later.

Obama asks businesses to get behind climate bill
By ERICA WERNER (AP) WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama wants business leaders to push Congress to pass long-stalled climate legislation awaiting action in the Senate.
Obama made the plug during a meeting Friday with his Economic Recovery Advisory Board, which includes the heads of General Electric, Caterpillar and Oracle, along with labor leaders and economists. ...
End of News Quote ----------------------------------------------
Is Obama nucking futs? Not only is the carbon tax scheme a blatent method to tax us, it is based on flawed research, and pseudo-science. Even if the carbon warming theory were true (which it is not) it would not make sense for the United States to make the same error in the environmental arena that is has in the defense arena.
The mistake? Don't give your enemies and competetors an advantage for free. Don't tell them your strategies. This is a major error that our governments make (Federal, State, Local, and so on) is to erode competetive advantages to businesses in their zeal to be "open".
If we don't make the carbon someone else will, either for the right reasons or the wrong reasons. What clear thinking business leader would want to tie their hands, hand over a competetive advantage to others, and get taxed in the process.
I have to see how this pans out. GE makes a lot of money on wind generators and nuclear reactors. Cat is in the middle and Oracle doesn't have a stake in the carbon catastrophy. Lets chat with some real industries, like steel makers. Oops, we no longer make half of the world's steel. China does. By the way, thanks EPA!!!

17 April 10 - 00:38My basic family tree

Here is the "skeleton" of my famuly tree. Starting with me, not shown are two wonderful wives, Paulette and Marla, as well as a son, Josh, and a Stepdaughter, Ashlyn. I have two brothers Charles E. and T. Wendell. From there the tree shows my parents, grandpatents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents.
The tree has been researched via
Ancestry.com which charges a nominal annual fee for easy access to various heredity archives as well as family trees of others. I also have a couple of books of research that were done on my Mother's side of the family.
Undoubtedly there are mistakes in the tree as it moves back toward the past and choices among various documents available are not clear. For example, John Armstrong is a very common name. Ages are not always accurate on census forms, and so on.
This basic part of the tree is pretty safe, so here it is for you or anyone else to use. I might spend a bit more time with this in the future and I would be glad to share what I have learned if anyone reads this and becomes interested.

15 April 10 - 22:38Another dinner picture

Marla and I are undergoing a life change. When we moved to Houston we had planned on making this our last move, but that will not be the case.
Monday I will be starting work at Optical Cabling Systems in Plano, TX. As for today, some of the people I work with who have become friends took me to lunch. We will keep in touch.
That's me on the left side of the picture. The picture looks sort of "Last Supperish" in a way, don't you think?

I like this.
----------------------------------------
Arizona Passes Strict Illegal Immigration Bill
AP - PHOENIX - 4/13/10
The Arizona House on Tuesday approved a bill that would draw local communities deeper into the fight against illegal immigration despite arguments from opponents that it would do nothing to keep people safer. ... Supporters celebrated the bill as a tough crackdown on illegal immigration ... . Arizona's struggling economy has driven many illegal immigrants from the state. But as the economy rebounds, "so too will the illegal immigrants ..."
----------------------------------------
Thank God that Janet Napolitano is not longer the governor of the state of Arizona. She was governor the last time I lived there and she was the worst leader I have ever seen in public office, and that includes a lot of people. Where is Janet Napolitano now? Retired I would hope.

11 April 10 - 15:53Hallquists from across the street

Here is an old picture (I cleaned it up as much as I could) from Lisbon, North Dakota in the late sixties, probably fall of 1968. The picture is my family and our friends from across the street. Why we are dressed up? I don't know. Maybe we just did it because we were going out. People were funny that way back then.
Going around the table in a clockwise direction, Wendell Armstrong, Gladys Hallquist, Dell Armstrong, Dick Armstrong, Renetta Hallquist (note drumstick in right hand), Lincoln Armstrong, Beatrice Hallquist, Charles Armstrong, and Bryan Hallquist.

10 April 10 - 13:27More women looking for me
Another one of those things on Facebook where women are looking for old farts like me. This girl would be more apt to like me than someone shorter than her. In checking her geometry it would appear physically impossible for her to see somebody shorter than the obstructions inside her shirt allow.
What's up with this and what's up with those kahoonas?
Anyway, if old women are looking for second chances, I am not planning on being available any time soon, if I were I can think of two reasons why I would call this old lady, other than that, what can I say.
Later.
One last look.... this may be the same woman looking for me last time, now that I finally glanced at her face. That can't be, the other girl was young and this one is old. I'm confuised.
Boy, I hope those things don't pop.
Later.
