The Dog is Still Wet Behind the Ears and so is the Floor
The new dog has it made. He can pee on the floor and still be the "cute doggy." Even though there are a few "no no bad dog" statements floating around, the little dog seems to get a lot of "oh your're cute" statements, ear scratches, hugs, and tummy pets. There is also a lot of holding in the lap and baby talk to the new mutt. I can only figure I would get the same treatment if I were to occasionally pee in random spots about the house or whatever other bad behavior I might exhibit. Certainly I would get understanding and warmth since the behavior is only a passing fad. Right? I am just learning!
Wish me luck with the new dog. The bottom line is this; personally I am tired of coming home every night and finding a yellow spot on the linoleum. The wet spots are happening less often, however. From the dog, that is.
