The Pope's Message
I really get very tired of indignant muslims, crazy muslims, possibly "not very smart" muslims and then there are the muslims that think their civil rights are being violated. I am not Catholic, but I feel that if I were given the task of finding the most honorable, humble, and caring person alive in the world today, the Pope would be on my list of candidates.
If I were given the task of naming that same person, living or dead, Mohammed would not be on my short list. Perhaps he is holy, maybe he is honorable. There is a bit of a chance at humble, but it would be a stretch. And I do not picture Mohammed as caring.
The situation he has created in the world today with the concept of "Jihad" is disastrous. I have a very hard time imagining the same God that I worship as proposing such a thing on his people. I am thinking Allah is not the God of Christianity or somehow certain parts of his message were garbled when Mohammed received the word on winning people to his religion with force.
By the way, if you want to read the Pope's speech it is at the address below. Why members of any legitimate religion representing the true God would recommend killing the Pope is incomprehensible.
Read the Pope's speech and you will probably be more informed than the blabbermouths that want him killed. Be informed, read it. Oh, yes, keep a dictionary handy. Those words you don't know are important.
