This is really cool. This is so unbelievable that I had to check that this information isn't a hoax. All signs point to "amazing" and this is not a hoax. Willard Wigan acutually sculpts these tiny little people, things, and animals at extremely small sizes. You can see the statue of liberty, Snow White, dwarves, a king and his wives, an there is even a likeness of the Titanic on a pinhead plus a replica of Marilyn Monroe standing on a diamond (a girl's best friend).
Willard has even placed some of his sculptures on human hair. Due to its extreme size, the art is best viewed with a microscope and Mr. Wigan is said to go into a translike state, slowing his heartrate, to achieve the steadiness required for the infinitesimal scuptures.
The right time to do this delicate work is late at night, and it takes months to complete a project. It is well worth your time to take a look at Willard's website.
Take a look. I might even make this a destination for a trip. Good things do come in small packages.
